Civil Project Engineer

Job description:

Our staffing agency represents a growing engineering firm that is looking for a HYBRID engineer. This Chicago-based company is seeking an engineer to work on some site development, highway, and civil projects.

Role:

· Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

· Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.

· Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.

· Perform site assessments and feasibility studies.

· Create and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.

· Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure project stability and compliance with regulations

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

· Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering project management.

· Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, etc.).

· Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

· Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
