Job Details

• Manage a civil litigation caseload from intake through trial with significant independence
• Try cases in Virginia Circuit Court and General District Court, both bench and jury
• Draft complaints, responsive pleadings, discovery, and pre-trial motions
• Take and defend depositions and work with expert witnesses
• Negotiate settlements and resolve matters before trial where it serves the client
• Communicate with clients daily and guide them through each stage of litigation
• Serve as local counsel on Virginia matters as needed
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys in regular case meetings and direct support staff on case tasks

Looking for:

• Active Virginia bar license
• Recent Civil litigation experience, including Virginia circuit court trial experience
