Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

I'm working with one of the Northeast's premier litigation firms, which is adding a Civil Litigation Associate in Manchester. You'd focus on professional liability, tort and liability defense, and workers' compensation, with hands-on experience from day one and a flexible hybrid arrangement.

What you'll do:

- Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution

- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and meet deadlines

- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials

- Work with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys on litigation strategy, and give clients regular status updates

- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda

What you'll bring:

- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New Hampshire Bar

- 1-4 years of civil litigation experience, including New Hampshire state and federal courts

- Skill drafting and arguing dispositive motions, legal research, and discovery

- Taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions
