    Description

    Job Title: Estimators & Estimator Project Managers
    Location: Magna, UT Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 per year.
    Role Overview
    We are looking for an experienced professional to handle the estimation of public and private projects. You will be responsible for completing bids, meeting with owners, preparing takeoffs, reviewing plans and specifications, and managing project scheduling. This role also involves assisting superintendents, coordinating subcontractors, preparing/reviewing billings, tracking costs, and proactive problem-solving.
     
    Key Duties & Responsibilities
    Estimating & Bidding: Review proposal specifications, drawings, and site conditions to determine the scope of work. Calculate labor, equipment, and material requirements to prepare accurate bid/estimate proposals.
    Project Management: Provide project administrative management for awarded contracts. Coordinate with field leadership to establish project objectives, procedures, and performance requirements.
    Operational Support: Monitor production, track project performance, and provide ongoing support for efficient execution (scheduling, procurement, and change order processes).
    Financial Oversight: Partner with contract administration to review and process financial aspects, including billings, subcontractor/material payments, and collections.
    Compliance: Ensure full compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, and all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
     
    Minimum Requirements
    Education: BS degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
    Experience: Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
    Compliance: Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card, and an acceptable driving record.
     
    Preferred Qualifications
    Proficiency in HCSS software.
    Strong fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with agencies and community leaders.
