Civil Estimator - Sitework & Athletic Field Construction

A growing Northeast Ohio contractor that builds sports fields and does civil site work is adding a mid-level Estimator to its preconstruction team. The work covers earthwork, grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and synthetic and natural turf athletic fields for schools, parks, colleges and pro facilities.

What you'll do:

- Do quantity takeoffs and build complete bids: labor, equipment, materials and subcontractors

- Review civil, grading and drainage plans, specs and soil reports to catch scope gaps early

- Request and level quotes from subcontractors and suppliers; write proposals with clear inclusions and exclusions

- Hand awarded jobs off to project managers and field leaders

What you bring:

- 5–10 years of civil or sitework estimating

- HCSS HeavyBid strongly preferred (B2W or AGTEK a plus)

- Background in sitework, grading, drainage, turf, golf course or landscape construction is a plus

- Able to read civil plans and specs and juggle several bid deadlines
