Required Qualifications:
- Must be available to work full-time onsite in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
- Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Experience as a civil engineer or in road design/modification projects.
- Skilled in using GIS tools and creating .kmz files.
- Proficiency in coding to perform road-use optimization studies.
- Experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance team on major wind component restorations, such as gearboxes and blade replacements.
- Assess and plan the best road access for transporting large components to wind sites.
- Use GIS tools to upload data into internal platforms.
- Conduct road surveys and recommend changes for safe transport of large cranes and equipment.
- Design road modifications including turn radius adjustments, crane pad layouts, and gravel/soil specifications.
- Coordinate with local and state agencies, ensuring proper road-use agreements are secured.
- Oversee all civil-related project planning, ensuring timely completion of road and access modifications.
