    Description

    Our client is looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join their growing team and contribute to a variety of land development and infrastructure projects throughout North and South Carolina. This individual will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality civil engineering projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and municipal agencies.

    Responsibilities Include:

    -Design and produce construction documents for land development, water/wastewater, and infrastructure projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway improvements.

    -Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and permit packages while ensuring compliance with local, state, and municipal regulations.

    -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound projects from concept through construction.

    -Attend client and municipal meetings, present project updates, and build strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

    -Support successful project execution by maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and staying current with industry best practices.




    Requirements:

    -2+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on land development and site design.

    - Experience managing or contributing to commercial, residential, or municipal projects valued at $5M+.

    -Strong knowledge of zoning regulations, site grading, drainage design, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management.

    -Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience preparing construction documents, engineering calculations, and permit packages.

    -Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.

    Preferences:

    - FE Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

    -Experience with pump station, water, and wastewater infrastructure design is highly desirable.

    -Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build relationships and confidently represent projects in meetings.

    -Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of projects from design through permitting and construction support.
