About the Role
Choice One Engineering is seeking a Site Design Civil Engineer
to join our team in our Loveland office. In this role, you'll work alongside talented professionals to create projects that make a lasting difference in the communities we serve while continuing to grow personally and professionally.
Compensation
2-5 years of relevant experience: Total annual compensation is expected to range from $100,000 - $112,000, including base salary and anticipated profit-sharing bonuses. Exempt employees are also eligible to earn straight-time overtime pay, which may increase total annual compensation above the stated range.
What You'll Do
- Help clients bring their vision to life by transforming concepts into successful site development projects.
- Design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management systems, utility infrastructure, and traffic circulation improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and project partners to develop practical and innovative solutions.
- Guide projects through permitting, zoning, and municipal review processes while proactively solving challenges before they become roadblocks.
- Support commercial, retail, industrial, higher education, and community development projects from concept through construction.
- Build strong relationships with clients, project teams, and communities while contributing to projects that make a lasting difference.
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge and professional skills in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in site development.
- Understanding of site design principles including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and site layout.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, responsiveness, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work onsite in our Loveland, OH office.
- Continuous learning mindset with a desire for professional growth and development.
Preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
