Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop land development projects, including site grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and environmental considerations.
Perform environmental impact assessments (EIA) and develop strategies to mitigate environmental risks associated with land development projects.
Prepare and review site plans, construction documents, and permits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, contractors, and local agencies, to deliver successful project outcomes.

Ensure projects meet sustainability standards by incorporating green building practices, low-impact development (LID) techniques, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Provide technical support for construction teams during project execution, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and feasibility reports.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental laws and building codes.
Attend client meetings, present design concepts, and provide project updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
3+ years of experience in land development, environmental engineering, or civil engineering, with a focus on environmental sustainability.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, including stormwater management, erosion control, wetlands, and water quality standards.
Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for environmental analysis and site planning.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
A commitment to sustainable design and environmentally responsible practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with LEED certification or other green building certifications.
Familiarity with hydrology modeling software and environmental site assessment tools.
Experience with public outreach and community involvement in environmental projects.
