Mako US Corp (a subsidiary of Mako Mining Corp.) is currently seeking a qualified person for the position of Civil Engineer - Mining Projec ts. About this role - Civil Engineer - Mining Projects Responsibilities Project Engineering and Design • Develop and review designs for civil and structural works, including earthworks, site grading, drainage systems, haul roads, bridges, foundations, and process plant infrastructure • Prepare technical specifications, design criteria, and construction drawings for civil and structural systems • Collaborate with process and operations teams to ensure fully integrated project designs Project Delivery and Construction Support • Provide engineering oversight during construction of civil works • Review contractor submittals, construction drawings, and method statements for compliance with project specifications • Monitor quality, schedule, and cost performance of civil works contractors • Oversee earthworks, concrete, and steel installations , ensuring best practices and adherence to safety standards Project Management Support • Assist with planning, budgeting, and scheduling of civil engineering project scopes • Contribute to tender evaluations, contractor selection, and vendor management • Support risk assessments, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives Commissioning and Handover • Support inspection, testing, and certification of civil and structural works • Ensure accurate as -built documentation and handover packages are prepared • Provide technical input for operational readiness and training of site teams Safety and Compliance • Ensure civil designs and construction activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements • Promote safe construction practices and environmental stewardship across all project phases *The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all -inclusive. Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent) • Professional Engineer (PE / P.
