Job DetailsA growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead land development and municipal infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from concept through construction while working with a diverse client base across commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial developments.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, design, and execution of land development and municipal projects.
- Lead project teams and provide technical guidance to engineering and production staff.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations and reports related to grading, drainage, paving, water, and wastewater systems.
- Oversee the development of construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend client meetings and ensure project objectives, schedules, and budgets are met.
- Support permitting and approval processes with local jurisdictions and governing agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in land development and/or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
- Familiarity with local development standards, permitting requirements, and municipal regulations is a plus.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise sound professional judgment.

- Commercial and residential developments
- Educational and healthcare facilities

- Industrial and manufacturing sites
- Mixed-use and community development projects
