Job Title: Civil Engineer I
Location: Schenectady, NY
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Rate Range: $45.00 - $48.19 hourly
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, flexible, Monday – Friday
Job Description:
- Customer Drawing Engineer responsible for calculating and documenting engineering forces and moments, Mass and Center of Gravity (CoG), from turbine-generator to customer interfaces (piping, foundation, etc.
- Additional responsibilities, include updating standard work procedures, identifying, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement – via cross collaboration with varied stakeholders.
- BSCE (Civil Engineering) with 0 - 3+ years’ experience in.
- Basic mechanical design principals, i.e. forces & moments, FBD – Free Body Diagrams - Structural foundation / building codes.
