Location: Dubuque, IA (On site)
Salary: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of Civil engineering experience.
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
- Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer License (PE) within a year.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain clear and concise project records.
- Up to 10 years of civil engineering design experience is desirable.
- Iowa PE license or EIT certification, or the ability to obtain either within 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical engineering reports and project plans.
- Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians throughout construction phases.
- Assist Project Managers in keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
- Lead project proposals creation.
- Lead or participate in project teams for planning, design, and construction.
- Engage in client contact, including attending meetings.
- Manage projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Guide staff and use Civil3D for plan preparation.
