Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are currently conducting a search for a full-time Civil Engineer to join a dynamic team in Bourbonnais, IL. This role involves contributing to a variety of projects, including municipal engineering, transportation, grants and loans, water and sewer systems, and private residential and commercial developments. We are looking for a junior to mid-level experienced professional who is eager to learn and grow their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on municipal engineering projects, including infrastructure planning and design.
- Support transportation initiatives such as roadway design and traffic flow analysis.
- Work on securing and managing grants and loans for infrastructure projects.
- Design and oversee water and sewer systems for both public and private clients.
- Participate in private residential and commercial development projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Provide technical expertise and project management support to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications/registrations in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer in Training (FE or EIT) designation (Illinois licensure preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in municipal engineering, transportation, or private commercial/residential developments.
