Your Role:
- Support civil engineering design for renewable energy, storage, utility transmission, and related projects.
- Conduct construction monitoring and provide field support.
- Perform stormwater compliance inspections for ongoing projects.
- Prepare stormwater management plans and hydrologic modeling.
- Support nationwide engineering and design initiatives across the company network.
- Assist with construction administration tasks, including submittal review, RFIs, and site visits.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 0–3 years of professional engineering experience.
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with site development projects in renewable energy, battery storage, and/or utility transmission.
- Preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and/or stormwater compliance inspections.
- New York State Stormwater Management Inspector Certification.
- Construction oversight and permitting experience in New York State.
- Experience with electrical infrastructure, environmental investigation/remediation, or environmental due diligence.
- HAZWOPER certification.
Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
