We are sourcing candidates for a Civil Designer position in our Rochester, Buffalo, Latham, Elmira, NY or Scranton, PA office designing plans for municipal engineering projects.
Job Duties
- Work independently and collaboratively on planning, design, and/or research on conventional renewable engineering projects.
- Produce drawings using computer aided drafting systems AutoCad, Civil 3D and Revit. Evaluate, analyze, interpret, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for renewable engineering projects.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction observation and data collection.
- Support senior engineer in evaluating design alternatives and solving technical challenges.
- Collaborate with other divisions and departments in a professional manner.
- Engage in design training and mentoring activities that build a strong technical foundation.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
