Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and maintain engineering drawings across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
Translate engineering concepts, project deliverables, and field redlines into accurate CAD drawings.
Review and incorporate site markups, photos, and as-built information into final deliverables.
Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards and applicable industry practices.
Support preparation of Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, field teams, and external service providers to ensure alignment.
Maintain drawing control, revision history, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Support multi-project delivery in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years drafting experience in the oil and gas industry.
Demonstrated experience working across multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation).
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (additional tools such as Revit considered an asset).
Experience developing and updating P&IDs, plot plans, facility layouts, and equipment drawings.
Ability to interpret field redlines, site photos, and project documentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently in a contract/remote or distributed team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with company drawings, standards, and systems.
Familiarity with pipeline and facility operations.
Knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and tagging conventions.
