Civil Construction Supervisor – Power Generation

Job Title: Construction Supervisor III – Power Generation
Location: Earth, TX
Type: Contract
Compensation: $69/hr
Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 40.0 hours/week
Per Diem and Travel: GSA Rate/ Per Diem 7 days Per week

Responsibilities

• Provide discipline-specific construction oversight for mechanical, civil, or electrical work.
• Inspect and verify EPC contractor activities against approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Perform quality control and field inspections using ArcGIS, Survey123, inspection templates, and related systems.
• Identify, document, and communicate construction deficiencies, quality issues, and field findings.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and project documentation.
• Enter inspection results and findings into project systems.
• Participate in daily Plan of the Day (POD) meetings.
• Coordinate inspection readiness and upcoming activities with the EPC contractor.
• Work closely with project leadership, engineering, contractors, and other field personnel to support construction quality and schedule requirements.
• Verify that completed work meets applicable design, quality, and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience in construction supervision, construction inspection, or construction quality oversight within the applicable discipline.
• Strong experience performing quality control inspections and construction verification.
• Experience overseeing construction activities on large-scale industrial or power-generation projects.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a field-based construction environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Power plant construction experience, including gas, coal, or similar generating facilities.
• Experience with combustion turbine projects.
• Experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, Procore, or similar construction/inspection platforms.
• Experience overseeing EPC contractors.
• Experience with large-scale greenfield construction projects.
