Position Summary
The City of Palm Springs is excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for the position of City Manager!
The City Manager serves as Chief Executive Officer of the City and advises the City Council on policy and programs impacting the community and the City organization. The City Manager appoints the City's department heads and is responsible for ensuring that city services are performed to the highest standard in line with City Council priorities. The City Manager is responsible for the submission and implementation of the City's budget in addition to the following:

INTERIM CITY MANAGER OPPORTUNITY!
The City is also seeking an experienced municipal executive to serve as Interim City Manager while the permanent recruitment is underway.
The ideal interim candidate will have significant California local government executive experience and the ability to provide steady organizational leadership, support the City Council and executive team, maintain continuity of City operations, and advance key priorities during the transition.
