Mountain Views next City Attorney will lead a talented team of 12 professionals and join a collaborative Executive Leadership Team in advancing the Citys ambitious goals.

The City seeks an accomplished municipal law executive who combines exceptional legal judgment with intellectual curiosity and a solutions-oriented approach. The successful candidate will provide counsel on complex and often precedent-setting issues involving municipal governance, housing, land use, CEQA, and evolving State legislation. This collaborative leader will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping shape public policy while navigating todays most challenging legal issues.

Executive or senior-level municipal law experience serving as a City Attorney or Assistant City Attorney is desirable. A Juris Doctor degree and active membership in the State Bar of California are required.

Mountain View's compensation is competitive with the market while remaining fiscally responsible.
