Shape precision parts that power what’s next
At Alloy Precision Technologies, advanced manufacturing meets craftsmanship. Here, you’ll own the setup and day-to-day operation of Citizen Swiss machines to deliver exceptional quality, while growing your skills alongside a team that values clear communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
A day in the life
You start your shift with a quick review of the job traveler and blueprint. Bar stock is checked, tools are verified, and your Citizen L32 or L20 (Mitsubishi controls) is prepared for production. You dial in tool and work offsets, confirm longitudinal and diameter settings, and validate first-piece quality with mics, calipers, and a height gage. Throughout the run, you document results, make insert changes, and adjust offsets to keep the process in control. If a machine or process hiccup occurs, you communicate promptly and escalate as needed. Between jobs, you perform bar feed changeovers and contribute ideas that lift quality and throughput for the next run.
