This senior technical leader will own the architecture and authorship of Cisco centric (and Aruba supported) wired/wireless network, VoIP, and mobility offerings in enterprise and tactical environments, and will also provide hands on leadership during implementation, transition, and sustainment activities.
You will translate complex customer requirements into compelling, technically superior proposals while partnering with Telos Operations teams to ensure those solutions are implemented, optimized, and sustained in production environments. Key Responsibilities:
Proposal and Solution Architecture Responsibilities
Serve as the expert level SME for the development and integration of highly advanced network infrastructure solutions in structured enterprise and tactical DoD environments.
Innovate and author enterprise strategies and solutions with primary emphasis on Cisco technologies (routing, switching, wireless, SD WAN, security), Aruba wireless/mobility, VoIP infrastructure, and supportive cloud and cybersecurity elements.
For solicitation bid activities, personally architect and author technically winning network infrastructure offerings; analyze complex network engineering problems; and provide engineering direction for highly advanced, implementable DoD compliant solutions.
Lead strategic planning for architecture, systems design, integration, implementation, and sustainment activities; translate these into high quality written proposal material (technical volumes, BOEs, LOMs/BOMs, white papers) in support of RFIs, RFPs, and internal growth objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (capture, proposal management, operations, OEMs, partners) to validate and approve technical requirements and proposed approaches.
Operational and Delivery Responsibilities
Provide senior technical leadership to Telos Operations teams during implementation, cutover, and sustainment of awarded Cisco and Aruba based solutions, ensuring fidelity to the proposed design.
Oversee or review detailed designs, configurations, and test plans produced by engineering and operations staff to confirm compliance with contract requirements, DoD standards, and approved architectures.
Serve as escalation level SME for complex incident resolution, performance troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across enterprise and tactical network environments.
Support development and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and configuration baselines for deployed network, VoIP, and mobility solutions.
Monitor the health, capacity, and security posture of supported environments and recommend optimizations, tech refreshes, and enhancements that align with evolving mission and cybersecurity requirements.
Provide feedback loops from operations into capture and proposal teams to refine future solutions based on lessons learned from live environments.
