    Job Summary:


    We are seeking an experienced Cisco Data Center Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cisco networking technologies, particularly in a data center environment. This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies and requires someone who can adapt quickly, troubleshoot effectively, and ensure the optimal performance of our network infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco-based network solutions in data center environments, including Nexus switches, ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), and UCS (Unified Computing System).
    • Network Configuration: Configure and manage complex network topologies, including VLANs, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, and other advanced routing and switching protocols.
    • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring low latency, high availability, and scalability.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, hardware/software failures, and performance bottlenecks.
    • Security Management: Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
    • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including server, storage, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration of network services.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and upgrades to the data center infrastructure.
    • Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the network infrastructure.



    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
    • Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Cisco data center networking.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Expertise in Cisco Nexus series (e.g., 9000, 7000, 5000) and ACI architecture.
      • Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
      • Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
      • Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
      • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
    • Soft Skills:
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
      • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
    • Certifications: CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center, or equivalent certification is preferred
