Pride Health is hiring a Circulating RN for one of our clients located in Spring, TX! (Contract)
- This role will be working in a Surgery Center
Schedule: Mon-Fri Day (0630a - 3pm)
Contract: 2 months to start
Pay Rate: 50-55/hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows the standards of care related to the nursing process.
- Conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, and maintenance of medical records under the supervision of the coordinator, supervisor of manager.
- Practices in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Addresses and resolves common contingency situations that arise in specialty area.
- Documentation is accurate, legible, timely, and concise according to protocol.
- Treats patients and family with courtesy, respect, and professionalism
- Provides instructions, verbal and written to the level of the patient’s understanding.
- Stocks unit/completes routine checks on unit.
- Actively participates in preoperative call process.
- Communicates any delays to family members and other team members as necessary.
- Prioritizes care based on the patient’s needs, abilities, and preferences.
- Advocates on patient/family’s behalf to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns, utilizing appropriate resources.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Active RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred)
- Experience in OR setting
- Circulating experience preferred
