JOB TITLE: Circuit Card Assembly Technician
LOCATION:Huntsville, AL
PAY RATE: $43/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Shift: Monday Thursday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM, and Friday Sunday 6:00 AM 6:30 PM.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Performs complex production assembly operations and inspections on electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

  • Performs rework, repair, and modification to parts and assemblies.

  • Performs complex rework, repair, and modification to parts and assemblies including circuit board soldering.

  • Assembles and delivers kits for production operations.

  • Performs simple receiving and inspection procedures on incoming materials.

  • Documents inspection results in accordance with applicable procedures.

  • Presents statistical data to team for analysis and problem resolution.

  • Performs complex periodic maintenance on machines and tooling and complex machine setup tasks following machine inspection checklists.

  • Reads and interprets engineering drawings and work instructions for assembly and inspection tasks.

  • Updates work status documentation and coordinates with management to establish work priorities.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.

  • Experience soldering circuit boards for electronic assemblies.

  • Experience performing production assembly operations on electronic and electrical assemblies.

  • Experience performing rework, repair, and modification to parts and assemblies.

  • Experience performing receiving inspections on incoming materials.

  • Experience documenting inspection results per applicable procedures.

  • Experience performing maintenance on machines and tooling.

  • Preferred: Certification in J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610.
