CI/CD Platform Engineer to support a large-scale migration from the current continuous integration (CI) environment to a standardized
GitHub Actions platform solution. This role will partner with internal engineering teams to help migrate pipelines, troubleshoot technical issues, improve automation processes, and enhance the overall developer experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with
CI/CD pipelines, automation, scripting, and cloud-native development practices. This person will serve as a technical partner to engineering teams, helping teams successfully adopt GitHub Actions and supporting integrations with internal services and deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Support engineering teams migrating existing CI pipelines to GitHub Actions
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout the migration process
- Debug CI/CD pipeline failures and deployment issues
- Support integrations between CI/CD tooling and internal applications, including services built with Golang
- Develop and enhance reporting dashboards and metrics to track migration progress and adoption
- Partner with development teams to improve automation, reliability, and deployment processes
- Promote CI/CD best practices across engineering teams
- Assist with build, security scanning, containerization, and production deployment workflows
Required Qualifications- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with GitHub Actions (preferred)
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Concourse is a plus
- Proficiency with scripting/programming languages including:
- Python
- JavaScript
- Golang
- Bash
- YAML
- Groovy
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments
- Experience supporting end-to-end software delivery processes:
- Code management
- Versioning
- Build automation
- Security scanning
- Deployment to production
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support internal technology teams

- 1-hour technical/scenario-based interview focused on troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving
