Requirements / Qualifications

A letter of introduction and resume are required with the application. Certificate/Materials - Offers of employment are contingent upon: 1) A valid First Aid and CPR certification, completed prior to employment. (NO ONLINE CERTIFICATES ARE ACCEPTED) 2) Fingerprint and criminal history check. 3) TB test results within the last 4 years. 4.) Completion of Fundamentals in Coaching course 5.) Completion of Concussion course 6.) Completion of Sudden Cardiac Arrest course 7.) Completion of Heat Illness Prevention course 8.) Completion of Sexual Harassment course 9.) Completion of online mandated reporter course

A Walk-On Coach Application must be submitted to Leah Censoplano. The walk-on application materials are available on the district website. Please use the following link: https://carlsbadusd.net/9267_3 A minimum of two (2) years of head varsity coaching experience or a minimum of three (3) years of assistant coaching experience at a high school, college, or club level.
