    Detailed-orientated Chisel Cut Work Cell Operator with experience in rubber manufacturing, specialized in grinding, cutting, and finishing rubber products to precise dimensions and quality specification. Skilled in operating cutting and grinding equipment, reading measurements, and work instructions, performing quality inspections, and maintaining efficient production flow in a fast paced environment. Strong focus on accuracy, safety, equipment maintenance, and meeting production standards while ensuring consistent production quality.

    Grinds and cuts rubber tubes to the proper dimensions per the O.D. sheet

    Procures materials

    Preps tubes and stripes

    Selects proper mandrel

    Sets grinding stone at the dimension and starts grinding process

    Remove mandrel from grinding lathe using an air hose, removes tube from the mandrel

    Inspects and skims mandrel to cutter

    Using a cutting lathe, sets stops, speed, and knife indexer then cuts parts

    Checks parts using quality tools

    Could operate 1-4 machines

    Operates grinding machines

    Sets up grinding wheel per dimensions and starts grinding process

    Visually inspect for quality defects

    Must be able to successful pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

    Be able to demonstrate good attendance history

    Some basic computer skill may be required

    Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule

    This position starts at $20.85 and is eligible to reach top pay by step progression increases. Hours are 6am-2pm.
