    Description

    Summary: Under limited supervision, performs administrative tasks, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth operation of the clinic. They may handle patient intake, basic therapy preparation as well as maintain a clean and organized environment.

    Essential Functions

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collecting patient information, updating records
    • Greets patients and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner.
    • Maintaining a clean and organized office and clinic room
    • Communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals.
    • Set up patient room for office visits.
    • May assist with therapeutic modalities such as muscle stimulation, under the supervision of the Chiropractor.
    • Educating patients on exercises, therapies and other aspects of care.
    • At end of patient session be sure provider has input encounter information per policy and procedures.
    • Performs other related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Education/Experience

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Medical Assistant certification preferred but not mandatory
