As a Chiller Technician, you will be responsible for the following:Maintaining and Servicing HVAC systems (Hydronic, Steam, Chilled Water, DX, Forced Air, Heat Pump, VAV, Constant Volume, Exhaust, HeatMaintaining tools, supplies, and equipmentDiagnosing/troubleshooting centrifugal and screw technology and HVACR equipmentPerforming preventive maintenance on equipmentFollowing all safety requirements and using appropriate PPEMaintaining expenses through planned courses of actionKeeping appropriate recordsHaving the Flexibility to work extended shifts (overtime as required)Maintaining professional appearanceJob Requirements:A minimum of five years experience working with Centrifugal and Screw Chillers with associated systems componentsThe ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on centrifugal chillersKnowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniquesKnowledge of precision measuring equipmentExperience in equipment tear-down and rebuildDocumented factory training on equipment and associated control packages and proven track record with referencesExperience with diagnosing and resolving operational problemsStrong written, verbal, and listening communication skillsCompetent in OSHA job site safety requirementsAbility to work overtime as needed We value community involvement and participate in a variety of local programs to help the less fortunate, including annual trips abroad to build homes for underprivileged residents.
