Facility Operations Lead needs 2 years experience as an Operations & Maintenance Specialist, or completion of an apprenticeship program.
Facility Operations Lead requires:
* 1st, 2nd , 3rd shifts
* 2 years experience as an Operations & Maintenance Specialist, or completion of an apprenticeship program.
* Proven experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
* Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
* Knowledge of the following trades/skills: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Working on mission critical projects
* Knowledge of OSHA codes and regulations
* Working knowledge of Metasys (BMS) and low voltage control systems.
* Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.
* Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and special maintenance events as needed.
* Required to use a variety of hand and power tools or man lift.
* Requires Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification.
* Possesses a valid drivers license.
* Must be able to pass a thorough background check and subject interview.
Facility Operations Lead duties:
* Supervise and provide guidance to a team of facilities technicians, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback and coaching.
* Coordinate and prioritize work orders and maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and efficient use of resources.
* Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime.
* Accomplishing repairs for HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, and building automation systems.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards and promote a culture of safety among the team.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment repairs, and inventory management.
* Collaborate with external contractors to coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve facility operations.
* Service, Repair, Maintain, Monitor and Adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters.
* Provides direction and training to less experienced O&M Specialists.
* Plans, selects, and lays out required materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance work.
