Childrens Day Treatment Assistant

Summary:

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an immediate opening for a motivated Childrens Day Treatment Assistant to provide services for a day treatment classroom in Jones county, but is not limited to Greene, Wayne, and Perry counties. Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is looking for a positive and ambitious person who is great with communication skills to fill this position. The Childrens Day Treatment Assistant must be able to problem solve, multi-task multiple projects, and think independently. Must be able to obtain Class D Drivers License within 30 days of hire. Experience working with children preferred.

Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Class D drivers license required within 30 days of hire Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record requiredBehavioral health experience preferred Experience working in a classroom setting preferred

Responsibilities: Monitors student behaviors and provides redirection when needed, including modeling appropriate behaviors. Assists the Masters degree Therapist in the classroom with instruction, clerical duties, and student activities. Provides transportation for the program using company van.
