Children's Cooking Instructor – After-School EnrichmentPart-Time | Weekday Afternoons | $55/Class + Grocery ReimbursementAre you ready to TURNIP the BEET on what Kids Eat®?Sticky Fingers Cooking® is looking for enthusiastic, dependable Chef Instructors to lead hands-on cooking and nutrition classes for children ages 3–18.If you love cooking and working with kids, we'd love to meet you! Educators, childcare professionals, culinary professionals, students, retirees, parents, and others are welcome.What You'll DoTeach 1-hour cooking classes for approximately 8–14 students.Teach cooking skills, nutrition, food safety, and cultural food traditions.Create a safe, positive, inclusive classroom.Purchase groceries, transport ingredients and a provided cooking kit, set up, teach, and clean up.Compensation & Benefits$55 per 1-hour class, representing approximately 2 hours of compensated work @ $27.50/hour including preparation, setup, instruction, and cleanup.$12 grocery reimbursement per class, plus additional reimbursement when needed.Paid training at $20/hour.Curriculum, recipes, training, and mobile cooking equipment provided.Weekday afternoon schedule, generally 2:00–5:00 PM. For example, you may teach the same class every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30–3:30 PM for the duration of a session. What We're Looking ForReliable, organized, energetic individuals who enjoy working with children. Requirements include availability of at least 2 weekdays per week, reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, and the ability to commit to a 4–12 week session. You must be able to confidently manage groups of up to 14 children and lift/transport up to 30 lbs. Experience teaching, childcare, camps, coaching, or culinary education is a plus.Hiring Process15–30 minute phone interview, followed by a Zoom interview and short teaching demonstration.
