The Denver Athletic Club Children's Center, a five-star rated preschool in downtown Denver, is looking for an Assistant Director! Inside the historic Denver Athletic Club, is a dedicated group of teachers and instructors who understand early childhood and development as a critical phase of life, who honor and respect the dignity of every child, family member and colleague.

Requirements and Qualifications:

The candidate for Assistant Director must hold a current Director qualification for the State of Colorado, maintain a clear criminal background, must like working with children and be able to work in the classroom when needed, and must be flexible with hours and daily responsibilities. This is an exempt role that pays $60,000 - $63,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the facility by conducting walk-throughs. Program operation responsibilities include making staff schedules, responding to staff call-ins, maintaining communications with parents, onboarding and training new hires, and overseeing events like picture days, the book fair, camp programs, and more. Other duties will include submitting billing, supporting weekend drop-off and other special events. This is not a complete list of responsibilities, but a job description will be made available to interested candidates.

Physical Demands:

The candidate must be able to life and carry at least 50 lbs. and must be able to aid in food delivery around the Center.
