Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Children's Behavioral Health Technician, based out of a Boys and Girls Club of the Valley location. This is a direct service position working in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley at an assigned site in the West Valley. This position will interact directly with the Children and Staff and Families at the Clubs and use the designated prevention model Positive Action while also implementing other clinical approaches based on Club needs. This team member needs to have a passion for working with Children in an afterschool setting, be willing to be an active participant/lead in therapeutic activities, and act as a liaison for Terros Health and these co-locations.

Starting at $19.76/hr DOE

Education/Experience:
GED/High school diploma with a minimum of 1.5 years of behavioral health experience or,
An associate's degree in the field of medical or behavioral health, or
A bachelor's degree (not in the field of behavioral health) and 1 year of behavioral health experience, or
A bachelor's degree in the field of behavioral, or
A master's degree or higher in the field of behavioral health
Preferred - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, electronic medical record, NextGen preferred
Valid AZ Driver License. Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy
Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events.
Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment
Interpersonal skills which allow for professional and positive relationships with co-workers, members, families, and other community members
Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions
Basic understanding of the DSM-V preferred
Certified Case Manager strongly preferred
Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role
Must pass background check, TB test and other pre-employment screening
Must pass 25 wpm typing test
