Childcare Teacher

Cares for group preschool children at Prestonwood Baptist Church ("PBC") during weekly worship services, Wednesday evening activities, Bible studies, and special events.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Biblical thoughts and activities through the leadership of the class Director
• Give instruction to children regarding behavior and safety
• Provide prompt and professional care for children's physical, emotional and social needs, according to the developmental level of the child
• Participate or instruct children in games
• Recommend or initiate measures to control behavior in children
• May escort children to designated activities
• Perform sanitation duties in classroom, such as cleaning and sanitizing toys, cribs, swings, etc.
• Read to children, and teach simple painting, drawing, handwork, and songs
• May assist at greeter check in desk
• Other duties as assigned
