Responsibilities:
Plan activities and lessons that are developmentally appropriate
Design a daily and weekly schedule
Provide support, encouragement, guidance and love to the children in your care
Work closely with co-teachers to create and maintain a structured, stimulating and nurturing environment
Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s day
Keep your classroom, toys, materials clean and well organized
Take pride in your classroom and the care and safety of the children
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an early childhood program
Strong understanding of child development
Patient, kind, nurturing and a team player with positive energy
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
