Job Title: Child Welfare Trainer/Content Developer
Client Industry: Government Administration and Human Services
Location: Durham, NC
Duration: 4.5 Months (High potential for extension)
Employment Type: Contract
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site attendance at the client facility is required for approximately 2-3 days per month. Additionally, up to 30% statewide travel is required, which may include some evening and weekend travel. Approved travel expenses are eligible for reimbursement)

Support the training and implementation phases for new Child Welfare Information System (CWIS) modules.
Analyze system functionality to design, develop, and deliver facilitator-led classroom learning and eLearning courses.
Collaborate closely with Training Leads, Business and Agile Teams, Developers, and Subject Matter Experts to capture requirements.
Design training course materials and maintain Adobe FrameMaker templates and scripts for adult learners.
Provide creative and effective virtual and classroom training facilitation for employees administering child welfare programs.
3+ years of experience in curriculum design and developing instructional training materials for adult learners.
3+ years of experience understanding social services programs that drive efforts for state, regional, and county staff.
3+ years of experience participating in and preparing quality assurance checks for developed training materials.
3+ years of experience working alongside developers, SMEs, and technical support to ensure training material effectiveness.
3+ years of experience in business analysis and utilizing the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3+ years of experience using Learning Management System (LMS) technology, including Moodle, XML, and HTML.
3+ years of experience designing and delivering computer-based instructional training programs.
3+ years of experience utilizing software such as Adobe FrameMaker, Captivate, Camtasia, Photoshop, and Visio.
3+ years of experience building dynamic, interactive training materials leveraging interactions and simulations.
3+ years of experience creating interactive media presentations to enhance online educational experiences.
3+ years of experience leading training sessions across various formats (in-person, virtual, and webinars).
3+ years of experience evaluating student progress and advising on continued training participation.
3+ years of experience supplying feedback on learning methodology and curriculum to ensure program relevance and user comprehension.
3+ years of experience managing classroom facility preparation, course scheduling, and student registration.
3+ years of experience researching and evaluating case management software to translate technical functionality into effective learning modules.
2+ years of knowledge and experience working with state Medicaid programs.
Ability to assist with fundamental application software and hardware support issues.
Strong understanding of web technology and general internet concepts.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to deal effectively with diverse groups.
