CREATING A SAFE SPACE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

We are looking for positive, energetic individuals to join our team as Child Watch Assistants!

Our Child Watch room gives parents a safe space for their children to play and have fun while they exercise. Child Watch Assistants are responsible for providing a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for members and their children focused on our core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring. Other responsibilities include: greeting parents dropping off and picking up children and making children feel welcome; handling and resolving concerns and informing supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues, and maintaining safety procedures in accordance with Child Watch room policies.

Child Watch is open during the following times:

• Monday to Thursday 5:00pm - 8:00pm
• Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am - 11:30am
• Saturday 7:45am - 1:00pm

Qualifications:

• Great communication skills
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Minimum age for this position is 16 years old.

Pay: the current rate is $16.04+ per hour, depending on experience level. Effective 1/1/2027, the rate will start at $16.48 per hour.

Schedule: Current open shift is Tuesdays 5-8pm with potential to pick up additional shifts.
