Child Psychologist – Behavioral Health

Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Full-Time (in-person + telehealth) 
Schedule: Hybrid (1 Day Onsite, 4 Days Remote)
Pay: $120,000 - $130,000 (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Child Psychologist to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children and adolescents in a hybrid care model. This role includes in-person services in the Bronx (1 day per week) and remote telehealth services (4 days per week), working closely with families and a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for children and adolescents.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, school counselors, and social workers.
• Participate in care team meetings and case discussions.
• Document assessments and progress notes in EMR systems.
• Educate families on mental health, coping strategies, and interventions.
• Support expansion of behavioral health services.
  

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
• Active New York State Psychologist license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with children/adolescents in clinical settings.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Comfortable with telehealth and hybrid care delivery.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
  

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience in community or urban health settings
