QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must complete 16 hours of instruction in Safety, Customer Service, and Sanitation by the end of the first calendar year of employment. (TASN Level I Certification).
- Must be able to read, write and understand verbal instruction in English and perform math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare high quality food.
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to operate large, small kitchen equipment and kitchen tools
- Ability to work with other personnel and follow instructions of supervisors.
- Competent in operating a computerized cash register
