Job Summary

Maintains a budget, staffing, safety, program curriculum and implementation, and program quality. Provides supervision, training, and evaluation of staff.

PLEASE NOTE: Current OVSD classified employees may not hold two permanent job assignments. If you are already a permanent employee for the District and are interested in working more hours you may either submit a transfer request form to the Classified Personnel office or inquire about becoming a substitute in the same or other classifications, in addition to your permanent assignment.

We reserve the right to limit the number of candidates to those deemed most qualified for the particular vacancy, based upon application screening and test scores.

There will be an application screening for the position to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied.

If you pass the screening, you may be scheduled to participate in the Oral/Technical Exam. Candidates must pass each portion of the exam in order to proceed in the recruitment and be placed on the eligibility list.

The eligibility list for this recruitment will be valid for one year.

Types of Exams and Tentative Dates:

  • Oral/Technical Exam: TBD • Final Interview: TBD

Employees who work thirty (30) or more regularly assigned hours per week are eligible for health and welfare benefits and will receive a district contribution toward a cafeteria fringe benefit package. Employees who are eligible, as described above, are required to participate in employee only medical, dental and life insurance coverage.
