Position
Overview:
Under
general
supervision,
the
Child
Care
Instructor
plans
and
implements
activities
and
lesson
plans
for
a
classroom
for
up
to
four
infants
and
toddlers.
This
position
coordinates
with
other
instructors,
the
Education/Disabilities
Coordinator,
parents,
and
volunteers
to
provide
an
age
appropriate
individualized
learning
environment
in
the
classroom.
Essential

relations

Records
and
monitors
child
attendance,
documents
excused/unexcused
absences
Calculates
each
child's
monthly
attendance
and
record
Cleans
toys
daily,
sweeps
and
mops
floors
Cleans
up
after
meals,
laundry,
and
takes
out
trash
Cleans
and
sanitizes
cots,
mats,
and
furniture
Regularly
sanitizes
high
use
areas
such
as
bathrooms
and
kitchens
Performs
general
filing
children's
files
and
daily
records
of
children's
activities
to
be
sent
home
to
parents
and
documents
each
day
on
weekly
parent
contact
forms
Performs
other
duties
as
assigned
