About the Role:Join our vibrant team at Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County as a Child Care Center Assistant Teacher! This role is perfect for passionate individuals who love nurturing young minds and creating a fun, engaging environment for children.
Responsibilities:- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Supervise and engage children in play and educational activities.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about child progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Help with meal and snack preparation and cleanup.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or relevant coursework preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Background check clearance required.
