Job Summary
Under the day-to-day work coordination of a Preschool Director or Preschool Teacher and the supervision of a site administrator, the Child Care Assistant assists in the care of students and helps them become ready for kindergarten. These positions differ from Paraprofessional positions in that the Child Care Assistant does not assist in K-12 academic instruction; and the positions are located in a preschool setting.
