    Position Summary

    The Child Care PRN Assistant provides flexible, on-call support in the classroom and activity areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a dynamic environment, and can step in seamlessly when additional coverage is needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist lead teachers and staff with daily classroom activities

    • Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times

    • Support learning activities, playtime, and structured programs

    • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

    • Communicate effectively with staff regarding daily routines and needs

    • Follow all safety, health, and licensing guidelines

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Experience working with children (daycare, preschool, church nursery, camp, etc.) preferred

    • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

    • Ability to be flexible and available on short notice

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    • Patient, energetic, and dependable
