    About the Role:
    Join HARLEM FAMILY SERVICES INC as a Child and Family Counselor in the vibrant heart of NYC, NY. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families through compassionate support and guidance.

    Job Duties:
    • Provide counseling and support to children and families, adolescents and young adults facing various challenges.
    • Conduct assessments to identify the needs and goals of clients.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
    • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops.
    • Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
    • Stay updated on best practices and therapeutic techniques.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
    Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
    • Valid state licensure as a counselor or therapist.
    • Experience working with children and families in a clinical setting.
    • Spanish/French speaking a plus
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Compassionate with cultural humility.
    • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
    • Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in service delivery.
    About Us:

    Compensation: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
