    Compensation

    • Base Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 / year
    • Housing Allowance: $1,000 / month
    • Relocation Assistance: $3,000

    Role Overview
    Leads a team of Stewards in a hands-on capacity, coordinating back-of-house kitchen operations to support the culinary team in delivering outstanding service. Balances stewarding functions — cleanliness, chemical safety, inventory — with people management, reporting to the Executive and Sous Chef.

    Key Deliverables

    • Back-of-house operations — oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and chemical usage/safety compliance across all functions and outlets
    • Inventory & cost control — manage raw material stock, plateware/glassware/silverware inventory, and back-of-house supply ordering
    • Equipment & safety compliance — inspect equipment and work areas against health and safety standards
    • Team leadership — supervise, train, schedule, and motivate the stewarding team; recruit and onboard seasonal and international interns in coordination with HR
    • Cross-functional coordination — liaise with the Executive/Sous Chef and Front-of-House leadership on planning, VIPs, and daily priorities
    • Service quality — respond to guest feedback and uphold service standards within the department

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in a similar management-level stewarding role
    • Dual-skilled as both manager and hands-on steward
    • Familiarity with large hotel/resort operations
    • Working knowledge of chemicals, safety data sheets, and health department regulations
    • Experience managing a profit center — stock, cost pricing, ordering
    • Food Handler's Certification required
