About the Role
A well-funded early-stage electric vehicle company focused on bringing a purpose-built electric motorcycle to market across Latin America is hiring its first Chief of Staff. This is a zero-to-one role reporting directly to the CEO, built for someone who wants to be the operational backbone of a small, fast-moving team as the company gears up for market launch in Mexico. You will own manufacturing and logistics coordination, align sister companies and the holding company on shared priorities, and stand up core operational functions from the ground up.
The ideal candidate brings 2 or more years of experience in management consulting (MBB strongly preferred), investment banking, or high-performance business operations, paired with real exposure to physical-world challenges like supply chain, manufacturing, hardware, or logistics. You are highly organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and genuinely energized by the variety and pace of a five-person startup. Pure software or SaaS backgrounds are not a fit here; this role is about moving physical products across geographies and building the systems to do it reliably at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own manufacturing logistics and supply chain operations, managing product movement from overseas manufacturing to the Mexico market
2. Collaborate with the in-country Mexico team on go-to-market execution and local operations
3. Serve as the connective tissue between sister companies, the holding company, and the Mexico subsidiary to drive alignment on shared initiatives
4. Identify operational gaps, address them hands-on, and build out the processes and teams needed to scale
5. Stand up core operational functions including inventory management, after-sales support, import and logistics coordination, and local assembly
6. Partner directly with the CEO to ensure priorities are tracked, nothing falls through the cracks, and the organization moves with precision
7. Support go-to-market planning and cross-functional coordination across multiple geographies and stakeholder groups
