We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill our Chief of Risk and Research Management position, a role where you will serve as a member of the executive leadership team of the Division, and provide strategic oversight for division-wide planning, legislative and regulatory coordination, communication with stakeholders, and data-drive system analysis. You will directly influence the alignment of behavioral health services with state and federal regulations, while driving continuous improvement in both divisional and programmatic performance.

This position is being filled in Anchorage or Juneau, depending on the location of the most qualified candidate, and is in a fast-paced office environment. We offer a flexible work schedule requiring just two days of work in-person a week.

The ideal candidate will also have three years of professional experience in the broad occupational fields of the division or department and two years of supervisor and/or managerial experience, which may be concurrent with the professional experience.
Definition of Professional: A category of work that is creative, analytical, evaluative, interpretive, and requires a range and depth of specialized and theoretical knowledge in a field of science or learning characteristically acquired through education or training equivalent to a bachelors degree or higher. The work requires the exercise of discretion, judgment, and personal responsibility for the application of an organized body of knowledge that is constantly studied to make new discoveries and interpretations and to improve data, materials, and methods experience.
For this position, we are seeking a candidate in the broad occupational fields of the division or department, meaning experience in one of the professional areas that comprise the division's purpose and function, to ensure the applicant has knowledge of the divisions work to be managed.
